Basic First Aid
This certification class consists of lecture, visual and hands-on training. It teaches individuals to gain knowledge and become familiar with skills to necessary to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advance medical care arrives and take over. It also helps individuals to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations. It teaches individuals to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory and cardiac emergencies in infants and children. This class is perfect for child-care workers, expectant parents and grandparents. The training meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines and Emergency Cardiovascular Care 2000 Guidelines.
CNA II Training Program
This intensive course provides advanced skills for Certified Nurse Assistants. It is a step-up course geared towards those who wish to advance their knowledge in clinical skills and for those who are looking to work in a hospital setting. Taking this training class helps a CNA become more competitive and marketable when applying for a job.
Certified Nurse Assistant- CNA
The training requires the student to go through 100 hours of training. Students will be provided the basic techniques in patient care based on the six principles of care. Simulated skill sessions allow students to practice with classmates and mannequins. Apart from these varieties of skills, you will also learn some essential parts of the theoretical learning such as basic biology, anatomy, basic medical terminology, and introduction to patient care.
Hybrid Certified Nursing Assistant Classes
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class offered by Caregiver Training School (CGTS) in Hawaii provides comprehensive instruction in essential healthcare skills and basic care for the elderly and disabled. This 8-week training prepares students to perform duties such as monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing nursing skills education. Upon completion of the CNA class, students are eligible for the state certification examination for certified nurse aides.
In person CPR / Basic Life Support Classes
This course trains individuals to become familiar with how to recognize and care for victims of illness and sudden injuries, to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations, and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory of cardiac emergencies in infants and children. In person Phlebotomy Classes
The programme is designed for students who are interested in gaining knowledge to become phlebotomists, and for those who are looking for a change in their career. A phlebotomist works at laboratories, clinics, and hospitals under the supervision of a Medical Technologist. They are primarily responsible for drawing and collecting blood, and other specimens from patients for those purpose of laboratory testing and analysis.
