Certified Caregivers provide personal care and other tasks that make sure patients are well-cared for and comfortable. The Caregiver class is 62 in-person training hours and includes classroom lecture and skills lab training. This class prepares you to take the Arizona state exam and become a Certified Caregiver. It is accredited by the Nursing Care Institution Board (NCIA). Be prepared to take the exam in as little as three weeks!

The CareGiver Training Institute is a nonprofit organization that offers post-secondary educational programs for Certified Nursing Assistants and Certified Caregivers. Their aim is to provide quality care for elderly individuals and those with disabilities by educating and developing men and women. The CareGiver Training Institute is part of the PCOA family of nonprofit companies that have provided services and advocacy to help older adults and their families age well for over 50 years.
