The Medical Assisting Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program at Bryant & Stratton College is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in the medical field. Medical assistants are multiskilled health professionals specifically educated to work in ambulatory settings performing administrative or clinical duties focused on patient care. They can be found in a number of healthcare and administrative settings, from the hospital laboratory to physiology clinics. Students in the program participate in classroom and laboratory activities that include typing/transcription, communications, taking vital signs, microscopy, and vision testing.
