  • Prerequisites: Successful completion of MAT 65 Basic Algebra, RDG 30 Reading for the College Classroom, and ENC 91 English Composition or equivalent placement scores.
  • Accreditations: Prepares students for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Students are also locally certified in Phlebotomy for the Healthcare Worker. The Medical Laboratory Technician program at KCTCS is accredited by the National Accreditation Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
