Cosmetology Training Program
Objective This Cosmetology Course equips students with the essential manipulative skills, safety judgments, and professional work habits necessary for a successful career in the cosmetology field. Our approach ensures students are ready for job entry-level skills and licensing.
Learning Approach Students start their training with hands-on practice on mannequins and classmate collaborations. Each student progresses independently, mastering one skill after another.

Once basic techniques are mastered, students gain real-world experience by providing services to clients in our patron service area.
Outcome The course concludes with an assessment of job readiness and mastery of cosmetology skills, adhering to the standards of the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology Licensing Exam.

The Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School (BAVTS), situated at 3300 Chester Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18020, stands as a beacon for career and technical education in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
