Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School
The Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School (BAVTS), situated at 3300 Chester Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18020, stands as a beacon for career and technical education in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. As a collaborative effort among the Bethlehem Area, Northampton Area, and Saucon Valley school districts, BAVTS serves around 1,300 students through a flexible half-day program. The school prides itself on offering a robust curriculum comprising 26 distinct career and technical programs across seven career clusters. Each program is carefully structured over three levels, enabling students to progress from foundational skills to mastery and career preparation.
BAVTS emphasizes industry readiness by providing opportunities for industry certifications, articulated college credits, and dual enrollment classes.
