The Nurse Assistant Training is a 160 hour state approved course which consists of 100 hours of clinicals and 60 hours of theory training. Trainee will learn the basic patient care skills which include: Introduction to the Nurse Assistant Duties, Patient/Resident Rights, Communication/Interpersonal Skills, Prevention and Management of catastrophic occurrences, Body Mechanics, Medical & Surgical Asepsis, Weights & Measurements, Patient Care Skills, Patient Care Procedures, Vital Signs, Nutrition, Emergency Procedures, Long Term Care Resident/Patient, Rehabilitative Nursing, Observation and Charting, Death and Dying, Patient/Resident Abuse.
