Bates Technical College’s Facilities Maintenance Engineer Program provides students with a hands-on learning experience to prepare them for employment in the building maintenance field. Buildings today are composed of many complex systems and components that work in combination to create the modern comforts we take for granted today. There is high demand for trained personnel and this program will equip students with the combination of academic and hands-on knowledge to find employment. Learn about and train on Building Electrical Systems, Low Voltage Electrical and Programmable Logic Controllers, Building HVAC and ventilation systems, boiler operation, building water and plumbing systems as well as building controls and automation.
