The Electrical Construction Associate of Applied Science program provides a robust foundation in electrical theory, safety and the practical skills you need for a successful career in the electrical industry. Our faculty emphasizes the importance of safety, adherence to industry standards, and hands-on experiences with electrical installations and maintenance. Throughout your nine quarters, you’ll learn a broad spectrum of subjects including residential, commercial, and industrial wiring, advanced motor controls, blueprint reading, and new electrical technologies like photovoltaic designs, energy management systems, green wiring practices, and solar, wind, and low voltage electrical systems. Graduates are eligible to earn up to 4,000 hours from the Department of Labor & Industries towards their EL01 electrical license.
