Our Caregiver Training is a 62-hour course which provides the student knowledge, and skills necessary to meet the demands of elderly residents care in assisted living facilities, ultimately leading to improvements in resident care and work satisfaction. This caregiver training curriculum, which is consistent with R4-33- 702(A)(1) requirements by the Arizona Board of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Facility Managers (NCIA Board), incorporates with Article 8 Arizona Administrative Code on Assisted Living Facilities and is divided into 14 competencies
The CNA Bridge to Caregiver Program consists of 22 hours of classroom instruction. It includes three modules: Orientation and Overview of Assisted Living Facility, Service Plan, and Medication Management. After completion of the 22 hours, the instructor will register the student to take the certification test through D&S Diversified Technologies, LLP. The certificate will be issued to the student after passing the test.
The AZEHCAM Manager Training Program consists of 40 hours of classroom instruction. It provides the student with the knowledge necessary to manage an assisted living facility and ensure that all state and local laws are being followed in order to be in compliance. This manager training program curriculum, which is consisted with R4-33-603(B) requirements by the Arizona Board of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Facility Managers (NCIA Board), incorporates the Article 6 Arizona Administrative Code on Assisted Living Facility Manager Training Programs and is divided into the 6 categories: Residential Service Management, Personnel Management, Legal Management, Medication Management, Financial Management, and Physical Standard Management.
