Angel Caregiver Academy is an approved New Jersey Board of Nursing Homemaker-Home Health Aide (CHHA) Training School. Licensing requires the completion of the School's curriculum and successful completion of the CHHA Licensing exam. Candidates for CHHA licensing shall complete 60 hours of online instruction in combination with 16 hours of in-person clinical training. Angel Caregiver Academy’s CHHA Candidates shall agree to a 4-week school schedule that includes 15 hours of online material per week (a total of 60 hours). In addition, completion of 16 hours of mandatory clinical skills training requires candidates to attend four weekly, in-person sessions at the offices of Angel Caregiver Academy. In-person instruction includes a review of the prior week’s online material, along with 4 hours of hands-on clinical skills training. Upon completion of the blended (online & in-person) curriculum, candidates sit for the NJ CHHA Licensing exam. Testing takes place at the offices of Angel Caregiver Academy.
