Students enrolled in the Associate in Occupational Science (A.O.S.) degree program in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technology receive hands-on training and practical experience in both the classroom and shop environments. They work with modern test equipment and tools commonly used in the HVAC industry, under the guidance of experienced HVAC technicians who bring with them years of experience and a range of industry-related certifications.

This program provides graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to secure entry-level employment in the HVAC industry and serves as excellent preparation for industry-related certification exams such as HVAC Excellence. Students also have the opportunity to obtain Section 608 EPA and R410A Refrigerant Safety and Handling Certification.

In addition to technical training, the Trades Leadership coursework equips students with a solid foundation in customer service, communication skills, employee relations, inventory management, and critical thinking skills.
