This Nurse’s Aide/Assistant/CNA program will prepare students for the Minnesota Department of Health CNA requirements. CNA, also known as a certified nurse’s aide, is an entry-level healthcare job that prepares those interested in becoming a nurse with the experience and exposure to the healthcare field. The CNA program consists of both a classroom section and hands-on/clinical segment. Each program consists of 75 class hours, which is broken into 43 classroom hours, 16 lab hours and 16 clinical hours. Our digital curriculum creates an immersive, story-based learning experience that teaches future nurse assistants like you the skills needed to succeed in your job. It engages you in an emotional journey with real-life scenarios while teaching critical concepts and skills in a way that a digitized textbook, Powerpoint slide set or pre-recorded ZOOM lectures cannot. This course provides training in fundamental nursing skills and theory and is designed to meet the Minnesota Department of Health requirements while preparing the student for the CNA Certification State exam.
