Pharmacy Technician Certifications
To work as a Pharmacy Technician, you must pass a national exam administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
Pharmacy Technician Externship Requirement
As part of the Certificate in Pharmacy Technician training program, you'll be required to complete a 180-hour internship in a sponsored pharmacy facility under the supervision of a site supervisor.
Prior to starting your internship, you must fulfill the program requirements, including completing 63 credit hours in the Pharmacy Technician program and demonstrating program competencies to the lead instructor.
