When you take part in Cal State East Bay’s Home Health Aide Certificate Program, you’ll be joining a comprehensive program that prepares you to give quality, personal care in a client's home with an emphasis on understanding basic human needs, eldercare, working with illnesses, nutrition, special diets, and home management. With our program, you'll gain the confidence to provide quality in-home care and become an essential part of a diverse community.

The Surgical Technology Certificate Program requires student candidates to hold an AAS, AOS, or associate degree or higher.  Candidates must submit a copy of the earned degree AND official transcripts for Certificate program eligibility.  The Certificate program consists of a TWO 16- week terms on campus, completing the core portion of the program. The third and final 16-week term is at a designated medical facility. The Certificate program is approximately 12 months, not including holidays and breaks. 

The Medical Biller's Certificate Program trains students in billing procedures for medical offices and outpatient facilities.  This program focuses on medical billing skills and computer applications.

The Medical Administrative Assistant certification program at International Technical College provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the healthcare industry. Through a combination of theoretical and practical training, students are prepared for a fulfilling career in healthcare administration. The program emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ensuring that students have a thorough understanding of medical office procedures, patient record management, insurance billing, and other important administrative tasks. Additionally, the curriculum highlights the importance of patient confidentiality and effective communication in a healthcare setting. Graduates of this program are well-prepared and confident, ready to make valuable contributions to the smooth operation of medical facilities.
