Program Description and Goals
Gurnick Academy's Medical Assistant program focuses on training students for one of the fastest-growing healthcare careers. The program offers a balance of administrative and clinical training, preparing students for versatile roles in physicians’ offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.

Program Structure
The program encompasses 13 courses divided into three modules, providing students with technical, clinical, and interpersonal skills. Upon completion, students receive a certificate, making them eligible for positions as certified medical assistants.
Career Services
The Academy provides career services including resume and portfolio creation, mock interviews, post-graduation support, and professional development workshops.
Program Accreditation
Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.
Financial AidMultiple federal and state student financial assistance programs are accessible and designed to support students with insufficient resources.
Our new Simulation Learning Center houses a nursing skills lab equipped with hospital beds, anatomical models, and other patient-care equipment. The adjoining space is set up to look like a hospital setting and is equipped with high-fidelity interactive simulation mannequins that provide realistic patient care scenarios.
