The Institute for Leadership Advancement (ILA) is an innovative, ever-evolving certificate program that combines coursework with real-world experience to sharpen the next generation of leaders that stand out distinctly because of their unwavering commitment to make values-based, impact-driven decisions.

The leadership certificate is completed in one or two years (Fellows or Scholars, respectively). Both programs follow a model to first learn, then reflect and ultimately practice—as all students apply their learnings through a final service-learning project, working with nonprofits and underserved communities.

The UGA Entrepreneurship Certificate Program prepares students to become successful and dynamic entrepreneurs in private, public and nonprofit sectors. It is also an invaluable learning opportunity for those interested in founding a startup, a nonprofit, or in pursuing investment banking or angel funding.
